Membership

We welcome prospective new members in all voice parts.

We encourage anyone thinking of joining a choir to come and sing with us – you won't regret it! We look forward to giving you a warm welcome.

Whether you are a new member or returning, we hope you have a wonderful time singing, making friends, and socialising with us.

We invite anyone who wants to sing quality choral music and can attend regular rehearsals before our concerts. Sometimes, we perform with professional soloists, accompanists, or even an orchestra. Our rehearsals are relaxed, and we move at a comfortable pace as we prepare for concerts. You don’t need to read music to join—everyone is welcome, and we’re happy to have new members in all voice parts.

Please feel free to attend one of our rehearsals (September to mid-December and January to mid-June, excluding Easter Monday). We rehearse in central Preston: see our Visit us page.

After two or three rehearsals we'll invite you to have a quick word with our MD, and possibly the gentlest of auditions to confirm your voice part.
