Sing out! – Saturday 8 October 2011

As part of this year’s Preston Arts Association Festival, we will be hosting an open workshop for all singers on the afternoon of Saturday 8 October.

Whether you read music or not, come and discover (or rediscover!) the pleasure of singing together, in an informal workshop, with exercises for everyone and a sample from the main work in our autumn concert, Cherubini’s beautiful Requiem.

The workshop will be led by Alistair Mackenzie, who has extensive experience as a choral coach, and is working closely with the Cecilians this season as part of the team supporting our musical director Marco Fanti.

Venue: Ashton Methodist Church, Wellington Road, PR2 1BU  [map]
Registration: 2.15 pm
Workshop: 2.30–4.45 pm, with tea break.
Price: £6 (£3 concessions)
